Community Drum Circles (2024)
In Spring 2024, we hosted three incredible public drum circle experiences in downtown Vancouver. Participants from diverse backgrounds came together to connect, uplift one another, and decrease feelings of isolation through the vibrant energy of drumming. Read on to discover how.
Building Community, One Circle at a Time!
From April to June 2024, we realized our vision through three amazing donation-based community events open to everyone, celebrating the diverse cultures and backgrounds of our participants.
Our dedicated team transported hundreds of instruments to transform the beautiful Woodward's Atrium into a vibrant oasis of joy and relaxation.
Led by our founder and drum circle facilitator, Lyle Povah, we welcomed people from across Metro Vancouver. Together, we created a unique space for connection, where individuals of all ages—whether strangers or friends—came together for an unforgettable multigenerational experience.
